Falls are one of the most common causes of injuries and deaths in the workplace. Employees who perform work at height should therefore have the necessary training, practice and qualifications for the safe execution of offers.

It is the employer’s responsibility to provide training for its employees. Reference is made to the Workplace Regulations § 6-5 and the regulations on the performance of work § 10-1 and § 10-3.

Work at height is work operations that can lead to falls to a lower level. Examples of work at height can be work on roofs and ladders, work on decks and scaffolding, work in MEWS and work on flimsy surfaces with the risk of falling through.

This course is available in Norwegian, English, Polish and Lithuanian.
